Witchcraft. Astrology is more science and I personally have found it to be true. Witchcraft just seems like something made up with a bunch of plants just for fun. It sounds cool I guess but why do they call it witchcraft? It’s like plant doctor lol.

I find it funny that people who don’t believe are here in this forum at all. That says to me, that they have something deep down telling them to go read up on this stuff…
I don’t use astrology to run my life, HOWEVER, I am good at it and it’s not just the birth sign you deal with. You have the natal chart and ALL the aspects. People see or hear the word Astrology and automatically think of those worthless general blobs of words in the newspaper. (Horoscopes) That hasn’t a thing to do with astrology! I never read them.
Witchcraft to me is not as reliable because it’s not based on anything real. It’s based on nature, not science. Astrology maybe a pseudo science, but it is atleast the mother of Astronomy.
If I had to choose what to believe in more, I would pick Astrology.

I don’t think that either are hard to believe. But I have experience with both.
Most people instinctively know that there is some validity to astrology. But most have not really grasped the skills that are needed for it to be useful in our lives. This is why people don’t run their lives with it. They simply don’t know how. The don’t know what to look for.
Witchcraft is something that I have chosen to stay away from because I don’t like casting spells. I feel as if it is a violation of other peoples freedoms. But praying is kinda like that. I feel that it’s a bit different because when I pray I am calling on God for assistance, not the four winds or the for elements.
Now astrology has a lot of superstitions about it. Most people don’t even use the correct symbolism for most of the planets. They might get some of them right like Mars because Mars is easily provable. But the symbolism for Vesta or Ceres… most people just don’t know but there are a lot that pretend that they do know. I like to test the planets to see if the symbolism is right. If it’s right every time then the symbolism is correct.

Astrology is not a science to me. Perhaps someday we will call astrology a science, but I doubt it. Even if we did, it still wouldn’t be a complete science to me. By complete science I mean things like astronomy or physics; something with no loop holes and is always correct, with laws and such. Astrology is too broad for science I think, not to mention it bridges more into social sciences, which are in themselves not too “scientific”. But enough about science lol.
I love nature, and after all is said and done, after all politics is put aside, after all buildings and man-made structures cease to be, nature will still remain. However, at the same time, I don’t think I could ever worship nature. I enjoy it, and I know that I need it to stay alive but in terms of me praying to or thanking it……..it just seems odd to me. I believe in a higher being, not human or even “living” but yet existant. I pray to that when I pray, because I believe more in forces. Yes, nature is a force, but nature contains all the elements. I pray to a higher power, a higher conscious, not to elements. Elements help us maintain life; they didn’t create it nor do they control it. I pray more to a “creator” if anything.
As for spells, I can believe spells can work. However, only to an extent. Simple stuff is not hard to believe, but some of it is just plain wrong. On top of it all, how can someone begin to explain or prove a spell is working? Say you put a spell on your house to ward off enemies. How do you know it has worked? Just because no one has died or been seriously hurt in your home since the spell does not mean it literally keeps bad people away.
Astrology has offered me help on my life, as well as how to help others with their lives. Forget anything karmical; astrology is in the now. We use it to better ourselves, to better our friends and family, and to better the world. Those who use it for any other purpose are not using it properly, and probably don’t even know what they’re talking about.
Both bridge into the concept of “different realms” and both have a bit of a “not from this earth” feel to them, but really this is more of a deeply embedded myth fed to us so long ago we literally seem to believe it instinctively now. Many who practice one, practice the other, and witches use astrology for rituals and spells (new moons, equinoxes, etc.). So really, a witch who says he/she thinks astrology is a load of crap is like a christian who hasn’t read the bible. On the other hand, an astrologer who says witchcraft is hooey can stand their ground, because astrology does not base off of witchcraft in any sense.
